I was born in Istanbul in 1958. I completed my High School education in American Robert College in 1977. I chose to study Fine Arts for University and graduated from Mimar Sinan University Güzel Sanatlar Akademisi, Yüksek Grafik Bölümü in 1982. I worked as a tutor and also in a private company ‘Gözetme’ to cover my education years in the university, and my expenses to buy film rolls to satisfy my hobby on photography.

I started my own job on design and ad service under the name ‘Nata Reklam Ajansı’ with an entrepreneur soul in 1983. I designed private stationery articles and calendar pages for Vakko. Then I developed my company and started to give below line and above line advertising services to companies like; Castrol, Türk Petrol, Kuveyt Türk, Hunca Kozmetik. I worked as a creative director in my own company for 8 years.

 

Then I switched to work as a professional again and I have been the manager in ‘Pamukbank Reklam ve Halkla İlişkiler Müdürlüğü’ and ‘Esbank Reklam ve Halkla İlişkiler Müdürlüğü’. In 1992-1993 I have been a creative Director and General Coordinator in Birleşik Tasarımcılar Grubu. I established my current ad company Ring Reklamcılık A.Ş. in 1994 and since then I have been serving the markets in such a wide range such as; automotive, real estate, iron, steel and fashion.

 

In 2003, I joined KAGİDER (Kadın Girişimciler Derneği) Women Entrepreneurs Association as a founder member and raised up to be the Vice Chairman of the Board for a few terms. Besides I am the member of Uluslararası Reklamcılık Derneği (IAA) and Grafikerler Meslek Kuruluşu. I have been awarded by Grafikerler Meslek Kuruluşu for my designs.

“Short Stories of My Life” Project was designed to show every passing year of my life as well as the growing story books. It was exhibited in Frankfurt Book Fair, and torn out. It was re-installed and brought back to its original shape after coming back to Turkey
